Security

Your export is business data. It is treated that way.

Private storage, signed short-lived downloads, row-level access control, verified sign-in and deterministic conversion with no AI involvement in conversion semantics.

Deterministic by design. Conversion is performed by a fixed, versioned rule engine. Gridlyst does not use AI, machine learning or any probabilistic model to decide conversion semantics, invent field values or fill gaps in your data.

Private storage only
Uploaded files and converted output are written to private buckets. Gridlyst never places your data behind a public URL, and nothing is world-readable at any point in the pipeline.
Short-lived signed downloads
Converted files are released through signed links generated on demand for an authorized member of the owning workspace. Links expire; permanent public links are never issued.
Row-level access control
Every workspace, job, file and artifact row is protected by database policies. A workspace can only read its own records — access is enforced in the database, not just the interface.
Verified sign-in
Email and password sign-in requires a verified address before conversion screens open. Google and Microsoft 365 single sign-on are supported.
Server-side authorization
Payment state, entitlement grants and job state changes are decided on trusted servers. The browser cannot grant itself credits, alter job state or unlock a download.
Bounded retention
Preview source files are retained for 24 hours. Converted output retention follows the plan you purchased — Quick Convert output is retained for 7 days — and each job shows its own authoritative expiry.
No AI in conversion semantics
Conversion is performed by a fixed, versioned rule engine.

Gridlyst does not use AI, machine learning or any probabilistic model to decide how your data is mapped, to invent field values or to fill gaps. Identical input, identical decisions and an identical engine release produce identical output.

Where a field cannot cross to the destination without a choice, the engine reports the options it actually supports and records the decision you made against the job.

Auditability
Every conversion leaves a record.

Each job keeps its engine release, source file fingerprint, decisions, row counts and outcome. Privileged administrative actions are written to an audit log.

Gridlyst staff tooling exposes operational metadata only — counts, statuses and safe failure codes. It does not expose the contents of your uploaded or converted files.
