Deterministic by design. Conversion is performed by a fixed, versioned rule engine. Gridlyst does not use AI, machine learning or any probabilistic model to decide conversion semantics, invent field values or fill gaps in your data.

Compatibility analysis

Before anything converts, see rows detected and analyzed, field coverage, a mapping summary and a compatibility score for the pair you chose.

Explicit lossiness decisions

When a field cannot carry across cleanly, the engine reports only the handling options it supports. Blocking issues must be resolved; warnings are recorded.

Deterministic engine

A fixed, versioned rule engine performs the conversion. No AI decides semantics, so the same input and decisions always produce the same output.

Authorized downloads

Converted output stays in private storage and is released through a short-lived signed link to your workspace. There is no public file URL, ever.

Job history and retention

Every preview and conversion keeps its status, row counts, decisions and outcome, with the authoritative expiry date for its output.

Workspaces and roles

Group work by workspace with owner, admin, member and viewer roles. Viewers read; they cannot start a conversion.

Safe failure reporting

Failed jobs report a stable failure code and a safe message, so a retry is a decision rather than a guess.

What the free preview includes

Preview is a compatibility check, not a free conversion.

Included: uploads up to 25 MiB, analysis of up to 10,000 rows, 5 previews per workspace per day, full compatibility and lossiness report.

Not included: no converted file, no converted download, no API access. Source files are retained for 24 hours.
